Fred Moayed is an award-winning photographer with a compelling photographic style that blends both photojournalism and portraiture with a candid-modern to elegant flare. His love for photography started when he was only seven years old when his uncle gave him his first Kodak point and shoot camera.
Fred received his photography degree from New York Institute of Photography in 1989 and started his first photography studio in Northern California. In 2002, he moved down to southern California.
Fred is a current member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. His warm and relaxed personality, as well as his extraordinary approach to photography, has made him one of the most sought-after wedding photographers in Southern California
He uses a photojournalistic style that is unobtrusive but he always takes formal posed photographs of the wedding party and family. To him, every wedding is a romance story to be told with images. He believes the wedding party should have a good time while he captures the fun.
When not behind the camera, he enjoys spending his time with his wife and eight-year-old daughter.
