My journey into photography started almost seven years ago as a U.S. Air Force public affairs photographer where I received an A.A. in multimedia production through the Defense Information School. While in the Air Force I gained experience in event, ceremony, portrait, sports, and investigative photography. During those years I was able to document engagements between U.S. Service members and the local Afghan government, the aftermath of the 2011 Minot flood, and receive 2011 MAJCOM photographer of the year.
I began shooting weddings almost two years ago as a favor to a friend and fell in love with my camera all over again! Weddings have allowed me to use my journalistic training in a fun and artistic way. Since my first wedding I have provided photo support for Christian, non-denominational, and Islamic weddings.
