I have been a photographer for many years. It had taken me 30 years to embrace the idiom “Do something you love, and you will never have to ‘work’ a day in your life”. Simply said; I love photography and being part of capturing your special day.

I received secondary training in photography from the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston. I had loved photography from a youth and have been shooting since. I actually entered into the field as an editor of photography and became very proficient with Adobe’s Photoshop. From there I started editing Professional Photographers images. I just had to start creating my own images, with my expertise in Photoshop and my passion for my own photographs.

Understanding the science of photography has allowed me the creative freedom to use my equipment to the fullest, to get great shots in camera before editing and simply use Photoshop for effects and enhancements. With my training, I have a solid understanding of the art of photography from lighting to composition and mastery of the tools of the trade. With an artists eye and nice camera in hand, we can create together not simply pictures, but rather, ‘photographs’, timeless works of art to commemorate one of the most special days of our lives.

When working with clients, I wear a big smile and speak with a clean wit. We have fun and it helps to relax, allowing one to capture a natural happiness in our eyes. A common statement with all I have worked with has been “wow, that was really fun!”
